Natasha and Dutch

Having to say goodbye to someone you love and loves you is not easy. Natasha was there when I first walked in the door as a seven week old puppy, she stayed close to me all weekend long, teaching me how to "get busy", helping me get use to living in a house, potty training, sitting before being fed. Then when I was old enough we went on outings together, Dana Point BBQ, Balboa Ferry, GDA camping trip, Natasha's birthday at the beach, and lots and lots of walks. She and her brother James have spent many hours with me. So Natasha, enjoy your time at college, study hard, expand your knowledge and draw each and everyday. We will be here for you if and when you need us. See you at Thanksgiving! Love, Dutch

Another new friend, Dublin

Two new buddies in two days, that is a record for me. Meet 10 week old Dublin. Colby is raising him for Guide Dogs of America. I mostly play chase with Dublin, he likes to run and jump and nibble on my ears. The grand kids came over this afternoon to see Dublin it reminded me of the day I came home from GDA as a puppy. Lots and lots of hugs and kisses.

New Friend, Baron

It has been some time since I last had a play date with a friend, so to my complete surprise Baron came over to play on Tuesday. We had a great time running around jumping on one another. Baron belongs to Guide Dogs of America and if he chooses he will become a guide for the blind. While he is learning his lessons he lives with Tina, Brian and Winter.

What should I do now?

I have been home for awhile now and we are considering what I should do to keep myself healthy, happy and busy. Some of my friends are therapy dogs, sniffer dogs, surf dogs, agility dogs. All of those sound great to me. Do you have any suggestions for me?

Friends

I was surprised the other day when one of my friends came over to welcome me home. We could not play like we use to because she is going to have puppies in a couple weeks, but we did enjoy each others company just the same.
